About the speakers
Prof John Mantas is an Emeritus Professor of Health Informatics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. As a globally recognised pioneer in digital health, he has spent decades transforming how computers and data improve patient care and nursing education.Throughout his distinguished career, Prof Mantas has held major leadership roles. He served as the Dean of the School of Health Sciences at the University of Athens and as the Vice President of the Cyprus University of Technology. Furthermore, he directed the Health Informatics Laboratory, driving vital research in biomedical systems.On an international level, he has shaped global academic standards. He did this primarily as the Chair of the Accreditation Committee for the European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI). A prolific author and researcher, he has published hundreds of scientific papers and books. Today, he continues to inspire the global scientific community through education initiatives.
