Synopsis
This webinar is alternatively titled 'The Patience of the Patient Patient'. Patients have been waiting for reasonable adjustments that they require to be implemented into electronic health records so that they are available to those providing care.
NHS England set a deadline of September 2026 for implementation.
This webinar is to raise awareness of the flag, why it is important and the deadline for implementation. Examples of successful implementation will be shared. There will be an opportunity to ask questions share experience and discuss challenges.
About the speaker
Dr. Howard Leicester MBE is a health informatics researcher, patient leader, and accessibility advocate. A deaf-blind professional managing progressive sensory loss, he uses his personal experience and PhD expertise to campaign for digital inclusion, championing patient perspectives and clear communication across the UK health service.
