Entry requirements

  • You will benefit from holding the BCS EXIN ITAMOrg Foundation Certificate in IT Asset Management, but it is not mandatory for experienced SAM professionals. However you must complete an accredited training course to take the exam.

  • Candidates should be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all phases of software asset management (SAM) principles and techniques.

    Holders of the BCS EXIN ITAMOrg Specialist Certificate in Software Asset Management (SAM) will be able to demonstrate their understanding of:
    • SAM business case
    • SAM as practice tier processes: Tier 1 to Tier 4
