Who is it for?

  • The certification is targeted at experienced service managers that are juggling a variety of suppliers. The target roles include SIAM and procurement consultants, senior service managers, service management directors, senior project and programme managers and directors as well as more experienced business relationship, change and commercial managers that have been working with SIAM concepts, but that now wish to formalise their skills. Solution architects might also benefit.

Entry requirements

  • Candidates may find it beneficial to hold the BCS EXIN Foundation Certificate in SIAM™, but it is not mandatory. However, candidates will need to take accredited SIAM™ Professional training, as the practical assignments must be assessed by a trainer and successfully completed.

What will I learn?

  • The BCS EXIN SIAM™ Professional Certificate tests a candidate’s knowledge of the application of Service Integration and Management (SIAM) to situations and the candidate’s ability to further analyse the SIAM concepts.
  • Specific learning objectives of the SIAM™ Professional Certificate:

    • The discovery and strategy stage
    • The plan and build stage
    • The implement stage
    • The run and improve stage
    • SIAM practices across the stages
