You will have support from the community of BCS Assessors and the Membership Assessment team at BCS.

You will join a community of other members who have chosen to support their fellow IT professionals and the IT profession and will be able to share in their wealth of knowledge and experience.

BCS staff are also on hand to support you in the role and provide guidance when required.


Members who volunteer for the role of assessor need to complete training for the role.

The training ensures you are up to date with the criteria for registration and are familiar with the processes and procedures you need to follow.

Training for all roles is completed remotely at a time to suit you. Training for each role should take no more than 5 hours and can be spread over several sessions.

You will have the opportunity to observe interviews and connect with experienced assessors as you come up to speed in your role.
