Call for BCSWomen to support February Tech Mentoring Monday on the theme of Women in Tech

You are invited to the joint BCS Entrepreneurs and BCSWomen – Tech Mentoring Monday event: Speed mentoring and networking for entrepreneurs.

For our February Tech Mentoring Monday on the theme of Women in Tech we are pleased to welcome guest speakers: Leanne Bonner-Cooke, CEO of Evolve and Imogen Wethered, founder and CEO of Qudini.
Leanne will share her experience as an entrepreneur, including success factors, potential pitfalls, leadership and getting the best from mentors. Imogen will speak about her company Qudini: building a business out of a Hackathon win.
Their keynotes will be followed by a Q&A session, and then the opportunity for networking with peers and speed-mentoring with our team of experienced tech mentors over drinks and eats. They will be pleased to discuss your technology and business issues and potential mentoring opportunities.
This is an open event and free of charge to BCS members and non-members.
Chairing the event is Maggie Berry, Executive Director for Europe for WEConnect International, a global organisation championing supplier diversity in procurement and helping majority owned women businesses to connect into the corporate supply chain.
Maggie is the founder of the Women in Technology Network, sits on techUK’s WIT Council and is a judge for Computer Weekly’s Top 50 Influential Women in IT and for the UK IT Industry Awards. She is also a Freeman at the Information Technologists’ Company. More on Maggie
