The Daphne Jackson Trust is dedicated to returning scientists, engineers, technologists and mathematicians to their careers following a break taken for family, caring or health reasons.
Applications are invited for Daphne Jackson Fellowships that will be hosted by the University of Leicester. The Fellowships offer STEM professionals wishing to return to a research career after a break of two or more years, the opportunity to balance an individually tailored retraining programme with a challenging research project in a suitably supportive environment. Fellowships are part-time over two or three years and are intended for individuals returning to research in any STEM subject within departments in the following Colleges:
- College of Science and Engineering
- College of Medicine, Biological Sciences and Psychology
- College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities*
*The scheme is open to those with STEM qualifications returning to research in STEM topics hosted in Departments such as Economics, Sociology, Management and Criminology
