Girl Scouts work on “Think Like an Engineer” badge and contribute links
27 March 2021

I wanted to thank you for putting together your recommended links page. My daughter Hannah’s Girl Scout troop is currently working on their ‘Think Like an Engineer’ Badge as part of the STEM series, and your page helped us a bunch!
Due to COVID, Hannah’s troop has continued to cancel all in person meetings. It’s been a year of this now, but we’re hoping to resume our regular schedule sometime in late Spring. We’re keeping our fingers crossed; the girls really miss each other and all the activities they had planned!
That being said, Hannah’s troop leader still encouraged us parents to work with the girls at home to ensure we don’t fall too far behind! With March being Women’s History Month, she wanted the girls to learn about the women pioneers in the field of Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics.
She asked the girls to do some research online and to share their findings with the troop. Your page led us to some great websites to check out, so Hannah and I wanted to make sure we thanked you.
And if it’s not too much trouble, I was hoping you could add another link or two to your page? Hannah found these guides which I was very impressed with...
I’d love to show Hannah and her troop leader if you include them! It’s always nice to get some recognition for a job well done, especially during this difficult year, Plus, encouraging girls in the field of Science and Engineering is so important!
Our Troop has a Zoom call Monday afternoon if you get a free moment to include them at some point by then! I would really appreciate it.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Mrs. Michelle Bass
