This year’s Women in Computing festival will run from 24 September to 14 October 2018 and the theme will be Her Story.

The focus will be on celebrating the women who work or have worked in technology through the stories that they can tell. We are hoping to capture these stories and display them as written documents, video clips, audio recordings, photographs, objects of interest or any other creative media.

The stories do not have to be a biography of a person’s entire life or career, it could be an excerpt that they feel is of particular interest, an item from a project that they are proud of or perhaps something that inspired them to enter the field of technology.

Following on from the success of our 2017 Women in Computing festival we’ve made it an annual event in our calendar! Our 2018 festival celebrates Her Story, stories of women in the tech industries.

Are you a woman who is working or has worked in the tech industry? Do you have a story to tell? We would like to hear from you. Please get in contact with us by email: wic2018@computinghistory.org.uk and one of the festival team will get back to you.

Remember – All proceeds go to support the Computing Museum at the Centre for Computing History in Cambridge.
