Need inspiration on your work in gender equality in computing? Have great practice you’d like to share with the rest of us? Just want to be able to talk to other people who have the same goals and challenges? We are offering the chance to do these things and more at the second CygnetS workshop (Athena SWAN in Computing Science).

We have a great line up of speakers, including:

  • Colleen Lewis from Harvey Mudd College will share how they support a 50:50 gender split in their computing class.
  • Nigel Birch will give us the EPSRC perspective on gender imbalance in grant applications and awards.
  • Jess Cockell from the Equality Challenge Unit will give us insight into the Athena SWAN charter and processes.

There will also be time for networking.

We are firming up the timetable details, but please book now to confirm your place. We will send out further details on timing in September.

Booking for the CygnetS 2 workshop is now open.

This is especially for those engaged in Athena SWAN work – please forward as appropriate.
