About us

We’re dedicated to raising awareness of sustainability in IT and to encouraging the adoption of green practices.

We recognise that the field of IT and sustainability is in a continuous state of development and work to understand how and where technology can help, for example by applying the internet of things, cloud or e-waste.

We’re a conduit and voice for the green IT agenda, actively canvassing input from technology providers, SMEs, academics, teachers and other organisations and experts who share our aims to reduce the use of power, carbon emissions and non-sustainable sources used in manufacture. We also work with schools, colleges and universities to raise the profile of green technology among young people.

Keep an eye on our upcoming events, webinars and competitions. We’re represented on both national and international committees, and we’ve produced papers and podcasts which are freely available for you to view and circulate.
