Important announcement: Higher Education Qualifications (HEQ)

As the Chartered Institute for IT, it is our responsibility to ensure our qualifications are continually reviewed and updated to ensure they support the needs and demands of the future workforce.

Following a strategic review of our entire qualification portfolio, we have taken the decision to implement a three year withdrawal process for the following:

BCS Level 4 Certificate in IT - 100/6181/2
BCS Level 5 Diploma in IT - 100/6190/3
BCS Level 6 Professional Graduate Diploma in IT - 100/6191/2

Important dates to be aware of:

The last date for your candidates to sit an exam for the above qualifications will be the April 2026 session.
The last date to register learners will be February 2026.
We will issue all certificates by September 2026.
