I don't quite know what it does for me yet, but it appears to have quite a few tools that could be useful for training delivery. The ability to include lots of people into one conversation, whilst involving online chat at the same time are the obvious ones but I wonder if there is more that can be used? Hardly sophisticated, I know, but quite effective for what it is. Video conferencing also appears straightforward so are we using these tools for training or is there more (or less) to it? Are there other similar, better products on the market that are so readily and cheaply available, I wonder? I am a great believer in the old adage 'there's no such thing as a free lunch', so I am looking for the snag. It's early days, but there does not appear to be one.
I have just gone to Skype - I know, I know, you don't know how I could live without it...
