BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, are offering a unique opportunity for the Students Chapters in partnering Universities to explore the possibilities of entrepreneurship. Over the course of one evening, students are invited to a special event hosted by BCS where they can network with industry professionals, access exclusive talks and take part in tailored workshops.

Shakeeb Niazi, the Chair of BCS Entrepreneurs and The Society for Entrepreneurial Education and Development (S.E.E.D.) along with Thierry Ackermann CEO of Yellow Compass are providing the course material. Shakeeb notes that the event "covers aspects of entrepreneurship, the opportunities and challenges, the toolkit to address some of the hurdles and a simple pathway, supported by further learning events and mentoring, that enables “students” to become entrepreneurs. Our approach does not guarantee success but helps articulate and propel great ideas, mitigate risks and misunderstanding (between team, investors and mentors) by providing a structured step by step process and is tuned by the iterative nature of our approach."
