Synopsis

March 8th was International Women’s Day!
2018 is a key year for gender diversity and equal opportunities in business and public worlds. Our business and IT worlds seem to be increasingly full of hard work, disruption and challenges. Many women also face further challenges managing home lives whilst striving for equality and recognition at work. There are also increasing sources of opportunity and inspiration. This event features real-life experiences from inspiring women in IT-related careers.

In ‘From Then to Now’ presentations, they will tell us about their work roles, how they got there, challenges, inspiration and opportunities along the way, and their tips for others. Come and join us to listen, learn and share views about this important topic. Today’s IT-related presenters include a ‘Big 4’ Partner, lawyer in the Rail Sector, media infrastructure leader, financial services entrepreneur and cyber security professor.
