Synopsis

One of the greatest challenges of the COVID-19 outbreak for organisations has been the increased cyber threat. COVID-19 themed attacks have evolved quickly as the outbreak and lockdown has spread.

This half-day seminar brings three leading Cyber Security speakers together to discuss their perspectives on how organisations and individuals can understand and address these risks.

Headlining will be Mike Jones from Sapphire, who has built a reputation as a former hacker turned keynote speaker. Mike believes that “to defend against an enemy you need to be able to identify the threat, understand the motivations and think and act as your enemy”. He will speak on how traumatic events can prey on victim’s emotions to create successful attacks and compromises.

This will be followed by Christine Bejerasco from F-Secure’s Tactical Defense Unit, addressing the specific email attacks evolving as COVID-19 outbreak spreads by updating on the webinar she delivered earlier this year.

Lastly, Mike Beck from Darktrace will talk more widely about the ‘state of cyber’ throughout the pandemic.

This will be a topical webinar from which you can gain three Continuing Professional Education (CPE) points and I think you will find our speakers highly informative and the subject-matter extremely thought-provoking.
