Synopsis

The current security status quo, focusing on detection and response, is increasingly expensive and seemingly unable to slow the occurrence of data breaches. Yet we doggedly continue to ramp up this approach thinking it will one day work.

But is there a better way?

And are budget, a skills gap, and management buy-in really our biggest challenges, or just excuses of our own making?
