Synopsis

Lena discusses how the increased use of technology during COVID-19 has affected our physical and mental health, and what we can do to minimize its negative impact.

About the speaker

Lena Jogie has a Master’s in clinical psychology from The University of the West Indies. She specializes in psychoeducational assessments, working mainly with children and young persons focusing on education and mental health.

Over the last 10 years she has worked in public and private sectors, advocating for the field of psychology in Trinidad and Tobago. Lena has held executive positions in the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Psychologists (TTAP), and is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and American Psychological Association (APA).

She is actively involved in promoting awareness for mental health and learning difficulties, sharing her knowledge and experience through her page Lenajogie.com, and presenting at community events.
