A panel discussion on the current state and future of Greater Manchester's tech ecosystem.

Agenda

6:00pm - Event Start
7:30pm - Event Finish

Synopsis

Greater Manchester is home to the UK’s largest technology ecosystem outside of London. Many well-known technology companies, including IBM, AO World, Autotrader, Cloud Imperium Games, Booking.com, Amazon, BT have a significant presence in Greater Manchester. Manchester continues to be the home of tech innovation with centres including DISH, HOST, and Sister(formally ID Manchester).

The region benefits from a strong university sector, with the University of Manchester, the University of Salford, and Manchester Metropolitan contributing to the talent pipeline and innovation landscape. In this session we will learn more about the Manchester technology sector and explore ways to further empower the sector.
