Synopsis

Join us for an insightful talk on translating machine learning algorithms from the lab to life-changing medical devices in clinical practice. This talk will describe how AI algorithms can be integrated into regulated software, emphasising the role of Responsible AI principles in guiding manufacturing companies.

We'll discuss the practical challenges and solutions for deploying AI in healthcare, focusing on navigating ethical dilemmas, validation hurdles, and regulatory requirements. Using a real-world case study of a leading dental AI software used in hundreds of UK practices, you'll learn how advanced deep learning and generative AI techniques can analyse dental radiographs to improve patient care and increase dentist efficiency.
