Synopsis
CyberFirst has built a strong and respected foundation in Wales, inspiring young people into cybersecurity and strengthening the talent pipeline. Now, as we transition to TechFirst, we are broadening that mission to reflect the full spectrum of technology careers and the evolving skills needs of industry.
This session will outline what is changing, what remains at the core of our purpose, and how BCS members can play a vital role in shaping the next phase.
We will explore new opportunities for ambassadors and partners beyond cyber, highlight the social value impact for organisations, and discuss how we can work together to build a more diverse, skilled, and future-ready tech workforce in Wales.

Holly Lidbury is the Project Lead for CyberFirst in Wales.
Andrew Bellamy is Chair of the BCS South Wales Branch.
Our events are for adults aged 16 years and over.
