Synopsis
This presentation aims to cover how software testers can recover mentally and emotionally from efforts spent in working on projects or features that either never get to be launched to production, or were launched and later retired/shelved. It aims to create a roadmap on how the stakeholders, including testers, can find purpose, rebuild motivation and secure future wins from a seemingly dead project.
About the speaker
Udeme Jalekun is a seasoned software quality assurance engineer with over 8 years of experience working in the Information Technology sector across EdTech, FinTech and Social applications.
Her strong analytical prowess, keen attention to details and dedication to enhancing customer experience have consistently driven the improvement of software quality across projects she’s worked with. Beyond her technical abilities, Udeme is also a dedicated leader, actively nurturing talents through mentorship, coaching and structured training programs.
She currently serves as the director of professional training and development at the Association of Nigerian Software Testers (ANST), where she plays a pivotal role in equipping the next generation of QA professionals with industry-relevant skills and knowledge.
