This year has been one of significant change within the tech community, and the field of Testing is no exception. After the success of the Summer Conference, we would like to cordially invite you to the online 2024 BCS SIGiST Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 2 October 2024!

Our AGM is a fantastic opportunity to reflect on our achievements and shape future plans. We will also be joined by our speaker, the inspiring Dorothy Graham, a respected leader in software testing.

Annual General Meeting of BCS SIGiST

During the AGM, your participation matters as you cast your vote to select committee members who will champion software testing in the community in the upcoming year.

This event also presents an excellent opportunity to network virtually with industry peers and individuals enthusiastic about advancing software testing as a tech career. We will look at insights from our our previous year as well as forthcoming plans, also use the opportunity to hear from members to share ideas for meaningful contributions to the tech sector.

During the AGM, members will vote to select the committee members who will represent the SIGiST community in the upcoming year. We are also looking for new members to stand for the following roles:

  • Inclusion Officer
  • Social Media Assistant
  • Event Coordinator (2 positions)

If you are interested in applying for any of these roles, please complete the application form linked below. The deadline for submission is no later than the close of business on Monday, 23rd September. As soon as possible after this date, we will contact applicants to confirm the role they are standing for
