David Reynolds is an independent IT Management Consultant. He has an MBA and over 30 years in IS/IT and business change in a wide range of market sectors (including FMCG, Defence, Clothing, IT Services, Retail, Rail, Local Government) and IS functions - including setting up and managing project management departments. His company, KatAlyst Limited, provides IS and business consultancy and resources. He and his consultancy team have a strong interest in the people issues of managing change.
As the chair of PROMS-G, David ensures that members are provided with relevant information on current issues and PM techniques, as well as providing a forum for sharing best practice, lessons learned, etc., in order to enhance the professional status of Project Management within the IT and related industries.
Paula has 20+ years wide ranging customer focused IT experience of Project Management, Product Development, Training, and Technical Support. Her strategic management, organisational, and commercial awareness skills were developed and utilised in roles across the not-for-profit, public and private sectors.
As someone who is naturally curious and a lifelong learner, Paula is an active member of the BCS.
She enjoys utilising her skills and experience for the benefit of the membership through her involvement on the PROMS-G committee and contributes her skills and experience for the benefit of BCS members in roles on the PROMS-G Committee and the Community Board Programmes, Practice, and Policy Committee. She is a representative for specialist groups on the BCS Council, and also a Council representative on Trustee Board.
Paula has been on the Project Management Specialist Group (PROMS-G) committee since 2010. As Secretary she organises and oversees monthly committee meetings that help facilitate PROMS-G’s goals and objectives. E.g. enabling monthly reporting and tracking by ensuring decisions are accurately recorded and completed in a timely manner.
Paula proactively seeks feedback from the membership in order to advocate the views and interests of the PROMS-G community.
Terry Is an independent Business-IT Consultant. Terry has experience in managing projects and business analysis in both public and private sectors working in continental Europe, the USA and the UK. Terry is very active in many BCS specialist groups serving on the BCS member board groups as well as on BCS Council. Terry joined the PROMS-G committee as Programme Manager until 2006 to contribute to the development of programmes of events beneficial to our members and their guests.
As Treasurer, he is responsible for keeping financial records of the group's activities, monitoring spend and preparing the annual budgets.
