Last night, whilst flicking through the ever growing number of channels on Freeview I came across one called Dave.
In fact it wasn't even that straightforward. I was scrolling down through my digibox's EPG and saw that UKTV History was showing an episode of QI, one of my favourite TV shows. Although I knew that I had probably seen it before, I clicked on it only to find the channel wasn't UKTV History, but Dave.
Brian informs me that Dave is the channel previously known as UKTV G2, but it does strike me as something of a strange name for a TV channel. Is the next one going to be Kevin, sorry Kev, and will we have one for ladies called Mandy or Nicky perhaps?
What is for certain is that this is an interesting time for TV, even if all we watch are repeats.
