Top university hacking team

Cyber Crime Cup™ and £1,000 will be awarded to the top university student hcking team. Here is the road to victory:

Student registration

So far 22 universities have asked to participate in Cyber Crime Cup™. Students can request a registration pack here - www.cybercrime.co.uk/cup

Qualifying round

The qualifying round takes place online between 1-6 November 2019. The top 10 teams are then invited to bring their laptops and play in the final round at Etihad Stadium on 25 November.

Final round

The top 10 teams will play a final round at the Etihad Stadium between 11:00am and 2:00pm on 25 November (teams must arrive before 10:30am). Each team will have the privacy and comfort of their own executive box. The top two teams will then be invited to play a final match in front on a live audience.

Final match

The top two teams will play the final match in the Etihad Stadium, Legends Suite starting at 3:30pm. This will be the first time a live audience is invited to spectate. Only 500 seats are available so buy your ticket today!

Award ceremony

The winning team will be awarded the Cyber Crime Cup™ on stage during the Cyber Crime 2019 Conference. All of the top 10 teams will be invited to attend this conference, which starts at 6:00pm on 25 November (just a few hours after the competition). Certificates and cheques (£2,500 prize fund) will also be awarded to the top three teams and the top player.

Privacy

We do not screen capture (record) the laptops of the student hacking teams. Our spectator system shows their activity by analysing server log files in real-time - just like a real life hacking scenario!
