Nominations Committee

Chair: Mr Paul Martynenko FBCS

Nominations Committee's Terms of Reference are included in the Members’ Regulations. The Committee is responsible for:

  1. Nominations for the offices of President, Deputy President and Vice President to be elected by Council.
  2. Making recommendations to Trustee Board for the appointment of the Chief Executive when the post becomes vacant.
  3. Nominations for public honours.
  4. Nominations for Distinguished Fellowship.

Nominations Committee’s prime responsibility is therefore succession planning to ensure that BCS enjoys a well managed succession of highly competent candidates to fill senior honorary officer positions.
