Details:

Your suppliers and competitors are migrating their products and systems to ‘the cloud’. Microsoft and Amazon (other service providers are available) are pushing us to use their cloud services. So what does it do well and what does it do badly? Does it present additional costs, savings or is it cost neutral? The University of Cumbria recently did a study to look at the pros and cons of moving their data centres and systems to cloud service provision. Colin will present a case study based on their experiences and the conclusions they reached for their systems.
