Event Synopsis:

The session will include a number of practical tips for teams running scrum, kanban, XP (or a blend of techniques) on how to move beyond the mechanics of Agile processes in order to maximise productivity. I’ll look at the importance of the unofficial “Pastor of Fun” role in an agile team as well as discussing the spectrum of agile governance available, from PRINCE2 Agile through to The Lean Startup.

For those interested in running leaner agile projects or how The Lean Startup movement could help your organisation, we’ll go through a practical example of launching a successful product using Kanban in LeanKit.

About the speaker:

James CanningsJames is the Co-Founder of MMT Digital and an expert in creating successful CEM strategies for global clients by focussing on their technical architecture.

He talks about Agile at global conferences and runs workshops around the world. Just last year, James was providing CEM expertise at events in the US, Germany, Denmark, Norway and here in the UK and next week he will be back in the states running an Agile masterclass.

In February this year James was invited by Parliament to go and talk about CEM and Agile project management at the Houses of Parliament to help them improve their internal operations. He is also a key contributor to the new PRINCE 2 Agile accreditation being formally released by AXELOS, a joint venture between the Cabinet Office and Capita plc.
