This talk will involve the Head of Strategic Development at EE carrying out a talk on 3G Vs 4G technology at EE. It will focus on the benefits and challenges faced by EE leading up to the roll out of 4G, the road map for what's next and geographical coverage.

About the Speaker - Paul Coffey

Paul Coffey is Head of Strategic Development for EE. He has over 15 years experience in the industry since joining Orange in 1995 and is responsible for strategic partnerships and innovation with a particular focus on technology. His work focuses on understanding the challenges facing the business and the industry in general, using that knowledge to influence strategic planning and investment decisions.

Paul has led EE’s 4G LTE trials in Cornwall and Cumbria, prior to launching the UK’s first superfast 4G mobile service. He is currently spending his time examining what role WiFi networks play in a 3GPP cellular environment. Previously he worked in the strategic programmes division for Orange UK, delivering key programmes such as the launch of the 3G service.
