Speaker: Peter Wood, Founder, First Base Technologies

Event Details:

Peter Wood founded the Operational Technology and IoT Security (OTIS) group in July 2016 to focus on security issues in Operational Technology and the Internet of Things. This presentation will give an overview of the current threat landscape for IoT and ideas for mitigation and controls.

Speaker Profile:

Peter is a world-renowned ethical hacker and security evangelist. He has appeared in documentaries for BBC television, provided commentary on security issues for TV and radio and written many articles on cybersecurity.

Peter has worked in IT and security for almost half a century. He founded First Base Technologies in 1989, providing cybersecurity testing and consultancy to major commercial and government clients.

He is a member of the ISACA London Security Advisory Group, a Fellow of the BCS, a Chartered IT Professional and a CISSP. He is also a long-standing member of ISSA and the Institute of Information Security Professionals.
