This talk includes a brief history of digital cameras, and how they have advanced to out-perform film cameras in many respects. It also includes where their weaknesses are, and how they are likely to further progress in the next few years.

Speaker: Keith Taylor has worked for most of his life at IBM Hursley, but separately has a keen interest in photography. Since retiring from IBM, he now runs workshops and seminars about digital photography. He is a member of Winchester Photographic Society.
