Jill Dann FBCS CITP - I am a Chartered IT Fellow of the BCS whose background since 1976 was in the Royal Navy IT Project Management Services in complex NATO programmes representing operational users in procurement and development. Since coaching a Permanent Undersecretary in HM Treasury in 1990, I have coached people for 1500-2000 hours here and abroad.

Since 1987, I have developed an international client base with diverse cultural and business disciplines in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. I have been an Associate of Ashridge Business School since 2000 and I author the popular Hot Topics articles. I have 20 years’ experience interviewing hundreds of BCS candidates for an IT project management qualification covering every type of Public Sector, commercial and voluntary sector organisation.

Since 2000, I have written 7 books about the management of change published by Hodder & Stoughton translated into Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Thai and Greek and authored 360 degree assessments: in EI, Influencing Skills, Stress Management, Managers Performance Toolkit, Project Management, Programme Management Portfolio management and programme support.

Much of my one to one coaching has been with fast track individuals or entrepreneurs, or individuals whose untapped potential is the reason for the coaching. I strongly support the BCS campaign to introduce CPD and mentoring programmes for Specialist Groups and I am on the BCSWomen Mentoring Working Group.
