Whether you're a data architect, developer, taxonomist, librarian or researcher, we have all heard a lot about “fake news” and biased information. This talk will put a spotlight on a number of ways that we as individuals can contribute to fighting against misleading, wrong and sensitive data in civil society, social media, not to mention inside our own organisations. Data is never neutral, and the more we are aware of bias and the need for ethical dimensions of the information we work with, the better.

The presentation will be preceded by a 10 minute AGM.

NB. A light buffet will be provided from 18:00.
